Terms of Licence Agreement for Sublimation Designs UK

Welcome to Sublimation Designs UK! By purchasing and using our digital designs, you agree to the following terms and conditions outlined in this licence agreement. These terms are intended to protect both you as a customer and us as a digital design provider. Please read the agreement carefully.

Permitted Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our digital designs under the following conditions:

  1. Personal and Commercial Use:
    You may use our designs to create physical products, either for personal use or for sale. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as t-shirts, mugs, home decor, and other products.
  2. DTF Printing (Direct to Film):
    • You may print our designs with your own DTF printer.
    • You may use DTF printing services through our approved third-party suppliers only.
    • You are not permitted to send our designs to unapproved third-party printing companies.
  3. UV-DTF Printing:
    • Our designs may be used for UV-DTF printing, but only through our approved suppliers. This method is ideal for hard surfaces such as glass, metal, and plastic.
  4. Sublimation Printing:
    • Our designs are suitable for sublimation on products such as textiles and other sublimation-friendly surfaces.
  5. Gang Sheet Printing:
    • You may print our designs on gang sheets (multiple designs printed on a single sheet) only through our approved suppliers.
  6. Text Modifications:
    • You are allowed to add text to our designs to customize them, provided the original artwork remains intact.

Prohibited Use

The following actions are strictly prohibited under this licence:

  1. Reselling Digital Designs:
    • You are not allowed to sell, share, or distribute the digital files themselves. This includes reselling or distributing the design files to others in any form.
  2. Artwork Extraction and Alteration:
    • You are not allowed to extract any part of the artwork from the designs to use separately or create your own designs.
    • Other than adding text, you may not alter the designs in any way, including but not limited to removing artwork, changing colours, or modifying elements to create derivative works.
  3. Unauthorized Printing Services:
    • You are not permitted to send our designs to unapproved third-party printing companies for DTF or UV-DTF printing. Only our approved third-party suppliers may be used for printing services outside of personal use with your own equipment.
  4. Selling Transfers:
    • You may not sell printed transfers or any physical items where the main product is the printed design itself. Our designs must be used to create end-products (e.g., shirts, mugs, etc.) that are sold to the end-user.

Custom Designs

If you commission a custom design from Sublimation Designs UK, the same terms of use apply. Custom designs are licensed under the same conditions as our standard designs unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Ownership

All digital designs provided by Sublimation Designs UK remain the intellectual property of Sublimation Designs UK. Purchasing a design does not transfer ownership of the design itself, only the rights to use it as outlined in this agreement.

Third-Party Supplier List

We maintain a list of approved third-party suppliers for DTF and UV-DTF printing. Using unapproved services may result in quality issues or unintended results, which we cannot be responsible for. If you need recommendations for approved suppliers, please contact us.
